What is meant by the term DLC? DLC stands for Diamond Like Carbon. This is a high-tech surface refinement. A diamond-like carbon is applied to the surface as a coating. This is done in several thin layers in a state-of-the-art vacuum process. A decisive advantage is that the positive properties of graphite are combined with those of carbon. This results in an unprecedented hardness and a unique deep black appearance. In contrast to PVD, DLC coating makes your watch virtually wear-free.
